The results are in. Our December ‘matching fund drive’ resulted in a total of $8,725 that will go toward renovation & maintenance of the Hall. Thanks to all that pitched in! Woohoo!

Dear Kearney Community Hall Supporters!!
Holiday Greetings from the Board! It has been quite a year for us all. In these troubling times we simply have not had the chance to get together and celebrate our progress or to hold fundraising or other events, and we may not have had a chance to keep everybody updated. Nearly all events at the Hall were cancelled this year. We hope that will change in 2021.
The good news is that construction and renovation continued with dollars from previous fundraising efforts, and the deck surface is (mostly) completed. Plus, we have just recently been offered a wonderful year-end opportunity from a benefactor to raise funds to continue work. A generous donor has guaranteed a gift up to $5,000 if we can match it.
What a great opportunity to double your philanthropic impact! If you were to donate $100, the donor would match that one-for-one, up to the $5,000 level. Any amount helps; $10 or $100 or $1,000 it all will be matched up to $5,000. In addition, we understand that through the Cares Act signed into law this spring there is now an above-the-line tax deduction for qualifying charitable contributions up to $300 which would apply to Kearney Hall donations. Always consult your tax advisor if you have questions.

Because of generous contributions in the past several years we have made substantial progress in renovation, and we look forward to continuing work so we can put energies into Hall events. But we still have a considerable way to go.
